The Post 42 Honor Guard supported the Annual Veteran's Day Ceremony at The American Legion Post 42 on 11 November, 2024. Over 200 fellow citizens attended this annual event. For more information or to volunteer for this awesome event next year, contact Jack Pierce.
We supported thirteen funerals in March and we conducted 20 funerals and the Veitnam Veterans Day Memorial Service this year. We expect to support between sixty and seventy funerals and memorial services annually.
We continue to have the need for more volunteers. We do NOT want to turn down any request for Veterans due to a shortage of personnel.
The current team consists of 18 active members, but we are always looking for more to join. We regularly practice, so don't worry if your Drill and Ceremony skills have detoriated since you left service.
