The Post 42 Honor Guard supported the Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at The Amerrican Legion Post 42 on 27 May, 2024.  Over 100 fellow citizens attended this annual event.  For more information or to volunteer for this awesome event next year, contact Jack Pierce.

During May, we supported 6 funerals and participated in the Post Memorial Day Service. Unfortunately, we were not able to support the reenactment of the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns and Memorial Day Service being put on by one of the churches in Atlanta due to a shortage of volunteers.

We continue to have the need for more volunteers.  We do NOT want to turn down any request for Veterans due to a shortage of personnel.

The current team consists of 14 active members, but we are always looking for more to join.  We regularly practice, so don't worry if your Drill and Ceremony skills have detoriated since you left service.
